Another blow to gas supplies in Europe .. "Gazprom" withdraws some of its offers

Bloomberg reported, citing informed sources, that a unit of the Russian oil and gas giant Gazprom has withdrawn some of its offers to sell natural gas from Russia, raising market concerns that new gas supplies from Russia may come too late this winter.
The sources said that Gazprom Export stopped offering gas for delivery in the first quarter and the whole of next year on its electronic platform for sale last Wednesday.
The change comes on the heels of a court ruling in Dusseldorf against the owner of the controversial Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, which links Russia to Germany.
Two sources in Gazprom explained that the two matters are not related, but European traders are on the edge of the abyss, as time is running out to refill their depleted gas depots, before the onset of winter, when demand for heating increases.
